Want to turn on the NumLock and keep it on in Windows 8, even have number lock already on when you login?
Windows 8 can be a bit flaky with the number lock (NumLock) status but with a simple registry edit you can pretty well ensure that NumLock will stay on for you.
Always backup your data, and always backup before making changes to computer hardware or the Windows system.
We show you how to backup the registry before making this change but remember that a mistake in editing the registry could result in Windows not loading (rare), but do this at your own risk.
