Been a while since we’ve had a proper Windows 10 build leak, but a new one just has. Build 10036 has been posted on the web, and is now available in the dark nook and corners of the internet.

That is, if you want to go looking for it.

Expect to dig around a bit — but this version is out there.

This follows build 9901 which showed up unofficially back in December. Microsoft followed it up a little while later with build 9926, also known as the January Technical Preview. Since then the company has promised feaster preview releases.

However, it has had trouble keeping its word, for one reason or another.

Come back to build 10036, this one comes from the partner channel, and for this reason is missing many features that users might expect. And that is due to the fact that these leak out more often than internal builds that Microsoft employees test day in and day out.

Meaning if you are expecting to see the Spartan web browser in this leaked version, then brace for disappointment. Same goes for Start Menu transparency, but that’s just how it is.

These features are coming soon, though.

Also be aware that since this is a leaked version, Microsoft will not be supporting this with updates or security patches. If you install this, you are very much on your own.
