Microsoft’s Spartan browser is very much a fresh start for the company, and that means getting as much right from the start when it comes to features, options and web technologies.

The company hosted a small conference for select partners and developers to get them up to speed on how development of the Spartan web browser is coming along — and what features they can expect to be part of the final version when it launches later this year.

It was at this very event that we learned that Internet Explorer 11 will be included unchanged in Windows 10, with future focus rightly shifting to Spartan.

And now a few slides (http://twitter.com/stefsull/status/580439076924485632) from the gathering have been posted on Twitter.

The photo below is from the event, and shows some of the technologies Redmond is currently implementing under the hood:

From Meta Referrers to Cross-Domain Font Loading and Motion JPEG.

All forward looking technologies, many of which are part of modern browsers like Chrome and Firefox. Backend developers are not only going to be pleased with this, the inclusion of these features is sure to cut development and testing time for websites and services.

Nice of Microsoft to provide these insights about what the development team is currently  focused on, even if it comes via posted photos on social networks.
