Title: Microsoft Shows Off Windows 10 Build 10136 Screenshots
Post by: javajolt on June 05, 2015, 02:50:09 AM
More specifically, it is Gabriel Aul, head of the Windows Insider program, doing the showing, but Windows 10 build 10136 is an unreleased build that is under testing right now.

The company seems to be coming good on its promise to launch preview builds at a faster pace.

So a new version could arrive anytime this week, or maybe early next.

But after revealing not too long ago that Redmond was testing Windows 10 build 10134 internally, Gabriel Aul has posted a couple of screenshots online of a more advanced version, in the form of Windows 10 build 10136.

Here they are:

This is to highlight the delightful fact that even Word 95 can run on Windows 10.

Plus, the images also show that development of the new operating system has picked up pace, and that a new version of the preview could soon get the greenlight for release — maybe no this one, as the watermark shows this build to be from a different branch that gets pushed to Windows Insiders.

Details are obviously missing right now, this is pure and simple a tease.

But with Microsoft already confirming that the focus is now on bug fixes, polish and performance improvements, there are little expectations of new features being added to the platform.

The full launch of Windows 10 rapidly approaches, after all.
