Title: New Video Offers An In-Depth Look At Microsoft Edge
Post by: javajolt on June 09, 2015, 05:26:02 PM
Guess when you label your video as ‘Windows 10 Tips and Tricks: Microsoft Edge, the Next Generation Browser’, it better deliver. And apparently this one does.

The software titan has put up a handy new clip on its Microsoft for Work channel on YouTube, providing a thoroughly detailed look at the new web browser set to debut with Windows 10 this summer. Edge is, of course, available for testing in the various preview builds of the operating system.

Hence the need for this video that goes over many of the base features of this new web browser.

Just what one might expect, right?

The thing with Edge (and to similar extents, Cortana) is that these two Windows 10 features are currently designed to serve as a base, from which Microsoft can build upon via future updates that are planned for the operating system.

Extensions, for example, will arrive in the Edge browser at a later date.

As will several other features, hopefully.

And although Redmond plans to offer Internet Explorer as a legacy option in Windows 10 for the foreseeable future, the company hopes to make Edge as the preferred choice for both users and businesses in due time.
