Microsoft revealed two new Surface Devices yesterday — the Surface Book and Surface Pro 4. Both of the devices are already available for pre-order, and the Surface Pro 3’s price should start dropping sometime soon. So if you are planning to get a new Surface, which one should you go for? Here’s a specs comparison table which should make it easier for you to pick the perfect device for your needs:

Obviously, the most powerful device here is the Surface Book which packs a 13.5-inch display, up to 16GB of RAM, as well as a detachable keyboard — but then again, it’s pretty costly too (starts at $1499.) The Pro 4, however, isn’t too bad — the device comes with a 12.3-inch display, up to 16GB of RAM, and it is priced at $899. Last but not least is last year’s Pro 3 which comes with a 12-inch display, up to 8GB of RAM and it is available for $799.
If you don’t want to spend a lot for a new laptop, you should probably go with the Pro 4. But, if you want a laptop that turns into a tablet which can replace your laptop, you should probably go with the Surface Book. And if you are looking to save money, the Pro 3 is undoubtedly the best bet.
