Earlier today, Microsoft announced that the Office Insider program is coming to the Mac. Alongside Office Insider for Mac, Microsoft also released a new Insider build of Office 2016 for Windows. The company today released build 16.0.6366.2062, which, as you may expect, does not bring any major new features. The new build only brings some bug fixes, and here are just two of the bug fixes:
• Word 2016 doesn’t display your document formatting correctly when you edit a document (http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/office/forum/office_2016-word/word-2016-doesnt-display-your-document-formatting/b7bb4017-8ae5-41ab-881b-03199d24ba83?auth=1)
• Excel 2016 crashes when using Application.OnKey() to intercept key stroke
Of course, Microsoft is yet to launch big features via the Office Insider Program. The company will probably start adding new features in the coming months, until then, if you are part of the Office Insider Program, you can get the latest update by heading over to File > Account> Update and click on Update Now.
