Chinese phone maker Meizu’s new Pro 6 Plus smartphone offers high-end specs for less than $450. But the company is also introducing a new phone aimed at folks with more limited budgets.
The Meizu M3X features a 5.5 inch, 1920 x 1080 pixel display, a MediaTek Helio P20 octa-core processor, and a starting price of 1,699 yuan, or about $245.

The entry-level model features 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage, but for about $50 more you can get a model with 4GB of memory and 64GB of storage.
Both models feature 3,200 mAh batteries, fast charging support, fingerprint sensors, USB Type-C ports, 5MP front cameras and 12MP Sony IMX386 cameras with laser and phase detection auto-focus.
It supports 802.11b/g/n WiFi, Bluetooth 4.1, and Chinese wireless networks. Unlike the Meizu Pro 6 Plus, it’s unclear if this model will be available outside of China.
The Meizu M3X also has a glass back which looks awfully familiar in press shots of the phone.
