The goodness that is Windows 10 build 15014 is like a gift that keeps on giving! This time it is offering some new updates options for some users, in a clear sign that Microsoft is experimenting here.

Redmond rolled out this latest version of the preview yesterday.

And appropriately detailed many of the new features and options that are part of this version.

However, as reported here on a Reddit thread, the software titan is also offering users some new options for installing Windows updates, providing them with more control over how the updates for the operating system are installed.

Take a look at this screenshot:

While it is not possible to confirm the legitimacy of this screenshot for the time being, so take it with a pinch or two of salt until more information emerges.

But as you can see for yourselves in this screenshot, users are now provided with multiple Windows Update options. Some of these are new, while others have been available in the previous Creators Update builds.

Users can receive updates for other Microsoft products when they update the operating system, including driver updates. There is also an option to use their sign in information to automatically finish setting up devices after an update.

On top of that, a new section also allows users to choose when features and quality updates are installed, and users are provided with three different options.

These include branch readiness level to determine when feature updates are installed, with two settings available, namely Current Branch and Current Branch for Business.

There are also dropdown menu choices that let users choose the number of days to defer the install of feature and quality updates with up to 365 days available for selection.

Most like Microsoft is still experimenting with these options, and that is why the company has not made them available for everyone yet. But with positive feedback, there is a solid bet that everyone should be getting these new options in the coming months.
