Western Digital today announced My Book Duo desktop storage system with capacity up to a massive 20TB targeting consumers and professionals who wants to store their digital content libraries offline.

It comes with RAID-optimized WD Red hard drives which can offer speeds of up to 360 MB/s and RAID-optimized firmware for two-disk array systems with auto management of drive operations to help ensure read/write cycle data integrity. It comes with a USB Type-C port and it also supports USB 3.1 Gen 1/3.0/2.0 right out of the box. It also comes with two additional USB Type-A hub ports to support additional accessories. It features password protection and 256-bit AES hardware encryption with WD Security software built in to keep content secure.
