Today, Microsoft published a changelog (http://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/4055398/surface-book-2-update-history) for a new set of firmware and driver updates for the Surface Book 2. It's the first update for the new PC, which has only been available since the 16th.

The update is dated November 18, and there are separate updates for PCs on Windows 10 versions 1703 and 1709. Of course, it's particularly odd that the device shipped with version 1703, to begin with, considering that it shipped almost a full month after version 1709 was released.

If you're on Windows 10 version 1709, or the Fall Creators Update, you'll get the following updates:

According to Microsoft's Value Indicator chart, today's updates include improvements in reliability and compatibility and have no effect on security, connectivity, performance, or battery life.
