Title: Microsoft releases new firmware for Surface Pro 3 with security improvements

Microsoft today released a new firmware update for Surface Pro 3 devices. This update is applicable for Surface UEFI – Firmware. Microsoft claims that this update improves device security.

• Surface – Firmware – 3 . 11 . 2550 . 0 – Resolves potential security and vulnerability issues.

• Surface – Firmware – 38.14.80

• Surface – System – 2.0.1350

You can update it through Windows Update or you can also manually update the firmware by downloading it from the Surface Pro 3 Drivers and Firmware Page (http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=38826).
