If you have been trying to access Twitter then you might have noticed an error popping up stating “something is technically wrong”. As it turns out you’re not alone as Twitter has been causing issues for users around the world.
According to Downdetector (http://downdetector.com/status/twitter), USA, most of Europe, India, Japan, Australia, and New Zeland have been facing issues with the microblogging website.

The good thing is that the company is aware of the issue which first started around 5 hours ago but has spread out since then. Twitter Support (http://i.postimg.cc/wTw2dYb5/Capture.jpg) has acknowledged the issue and is working on fixing the same. Unfortunately, the outage hits Tweetdeck as well and users are unable to access their DMs, or view and send new tweets.
Twitter hasn’t shared any ETA on fixing the issue. We expect it to be fixed in the next few hours. We will update the article as soon as we have more information.
