If you use multiple monitors on your computer, it can be a bit difficult to access all the controls to change the brightness and contrast of the different screens. But a new tool in Microsoft’s downloadable Powertoys collection of utilities (http://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/powertoys/install) for Windows enthusiasts will soon make it easier.
Niels Laute, one of the developers on Microsoft’s Powertoys team, has announced (http://x.com/Niels9001/status/1992956221436125683) on social media platform X that the new Powertoys tool PowerDisplay will add a context menu to the taskbar to control brightness, contrast, volume and other features across multiple screens.
According to Laute, the plan is for PowerDisplay to launch in January, probably in version 0.98 of Powertoys, but that could change. But there’s no reason to delay snagging PowerToys — here are 9 useful Windows PowerToys features you might’ve overlooked (http://www.pcworld.com/article/2470532/9-useful-windows-powertoys-features-you-mightve-overlooked.html).
