Title: How to View File Extensions in 7
Post by: sceadwe on March 19, 2009, 06:17:09 AM
When browsing in explorer, power users may want to be able to see file extensions for all files. To enable this in Windows 7 follow these instructions-

1. Open an Explorer window such as Computer or Documents
2. On the toolbar under the address box click the "Organize" button
3. From the drop down menu select "Folder and search options"
4. Select the "View" tab, then uncheck "Hide extensions for known file types"

Thats it
