Microsoft has definitely opened up a few doors for personalizing Windows7 compared to Windows Vista, but the software giant recently gave some news that many customizers and tweakers will not enjoy.
Only two months ago the boot screen for Windows 7 leaked, and everyone was trying to confirm whether it was real or fake.
We've known for a while now that it's real, but Microsoft wrote a post on the Engineering Windows 7 blog detailing how exactly the animation came to be.
Those who love to customize everything in Windows will be disappointed to learn that Microsoft will not support customizing the boot screen animation.
