Title: Windows 7 tips, tricks and tweaks
Post by: javajolt on April 15, 2009, 07:41:49 PM
Testing out the Windows 7 beta? Here are a handful of ways to get around the interface and make it act the way you want.  there has been lots of post on the internet about this topic since the first beat release, and as one might think it is added to with each new release/leak.

This one is different in that it goes into some detail on the how to's of the more substantial tweaks.

Here are some of the things discussed in this 6 page article.

Shake your desktop free of clutter (this has been mentioned numerous times)
Kill the Send Feedback link (we all have done this one)
Windows Explorer tips
Set a new Windows Explorer launch folder (gives those pesky target cmds)
Get a power efficiency report (this one is very handy for us laptop users)
Show all your drives in Windows Explorer
Protect the privacy of your Explorer searches (we all need a bit more privacy right?)
Build your own Internet Search Connector (all of page 3)

This goes on for 6 pages as I said, so I am certain there is something here that will interest you, and make your configuration of W7 your own.
