Yay! My OS I have on my desktop which is factory installed PB Windows 7 Home Premium with tons of great software, I manage to install it on my HP laptop today. The only problem I have is activation. I will need to activate because my HP model isn't a Packard Bell or an Acer. Shall I activate it with the pre-installed PB key or I have an HP key I can activate with. It's also an OEM edition.

Packard Bell??? I didn't know they were still around. We don't see them here, (USA) anymore. Why don't you try one of the Daz or Orbitz loaders?

This morning, it crashed and I had to put my retail version on it. I like my Packard Bell iExtreme.

What caused the crash? or do you know.?
I'm running (testing) almost every thing on a Acer Netbook. no crashs except the ones I caused.
Is your HP Slic 2.1 or not?
Did you install a PB Certificate ?
I'd test the PB restore disk, if you want. but you would have to upload it somewhere....
If you interested in uploading let me know.

After the install, did you verify it was Activated?
If yes, did you get any UPGRADES. Did you find any ERRORS? on install. Did you check to see if your running SLIC 2.1 ?
Is the PB using SLIC 2.1? Did you modify the DISK in any fashion? Did you RESTORE or do a Clean install with it.?
When it CRASHED what was the CRASH. failure to boot or ???????
so many questions to ask, and so few details given.
