Title: Recover Deleted Photos after Spirit Jailbreak on Windows

Spirit Jailbreak is the most sought jailbreak Tool till date that jailbreaks your iPhone, iPod touch 3.1.2 / 3.1.3 and iPad on 3.2 within minutes. Unfortunately, the first version of Spirit software carried photo deletion bug. After jailbreaking with spirit tool, all the photos stored on the iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad were deleted automatically. Although, the photo deletion bug in spirit was lately fixed by Comex.

While jailbreaking with spirit, if you have also lost all your photos, then follow our step by step guide to restore the deleted photos quickly after spirit jailbreak.

What do we need?

OpenSSH – Download OpenSSH via Cydia on your iPhone. Install it and reboot your iPhone.

iPhone Backup Extractor 32bit for Windows 32 bit OS.

iPhone Backup Extractor 64bit for Windows 64 bit OS.

You will now download software to access your iPhone via SSH. Mac users can use WinSCP. Enter the following details to login to your iPhone:

Server: The IP address of your iPad. Settings –> WiFi –> <Your Network Name>

Username: root

Password: alpine

Protocol: SCP

Guide to recover lost photos / deleted after Spirit Jailbreak:

Step 1: Download  iPhone Backup Extractor. Extract it and run it.

Step 2: Select “I accept this license” and click the Next button

Step 3: Now select the most recent backup made before jailbreaking your iPhone with Spirit. Backups are dated, so it’s easy to choose the correct one).

Step 4: After the analysis you can choose to retrieve files automatically or manually. Select the second choice.

Step 5: Expand the Media folder and select from among those appearing, the Media subfolder as shown. Then click the Next button.

Step 6: Create a folder on desktop and select the folder to take the backup.

Step 7: Once the process is completed. Click the finish button.

Step 8: Enable the SSH on the iPhone and open WinSCP port within the directory / User / Media /.

Step 9: Simply drag the DCIM folder (extracted in Step 6) to the directory / User / Media / iPhone via WinSCP and agree to overwrite the same.

Step 10: Once WinSCP has finished copying the content, you will be able to see all the pictures taken by iPhone.
