Epic Wi-Fi MOD
« on: July 18, 2010, 01:24:37 AM »

Often, users complain about the weak Wi-Fi chip of their netbooks. wakrein from eeeuser forums has found a not-so-elegant way to boost the Wi-Fi signal strength of his netbook. But hey, the result is amazing as his netbook is able to catch signals from 100 yards!

Here is what he did

“originally modified in an external RP-SMA pigtail for external antenna output, then i bought a 12 DBI YAGI antenna, and cheaply rigged it to a digital camera tripod”
