A Jailbreaker's Dictionary Of Sorts
« on: August 01, 2010, 03:04:47 AM »

Still not thrilled with your iDevice and thinking about jailbreaking it?  Or maybe you'd like to jailbreak it and don't know how?  We discovered a resource that could possibly have the answers to all your questions.

Hot off the heals of the government legalizing jailbreaking, a site known as Jailbreak Matrix is handy in laying out all of your options.  The site covers everything from the firmware options currently available for your iDevice, to the baseband, to the Boot Loader, or even if you have any current jailbreak options at all.

The site also lists out which firmware options are at your fingertips too.  And even more conveniently, a link is provided to download said firmware.  Also made mention is what version of iTunes each was tested with as well.

However, the site does come with a disclaimer:

These guides are for information purposes.  You should follow these steps at your own risk.  Jailbreaking voids your warranty but it can ALWAYS be easily fixed by restoring the iPhone OS via iTunes.  Before jailbreaking READ the whole guide, updating to some firmware may cause you to lose your unlock permanently, meaning you won't be able to use other carriers until the DEV team releases a new unlock.

Still feeling like living life on the edge?  Check out the site here.
