More Windows 8 leaks: Windows App Store screenshots

[javajolt]

As previously reported, Microsoft seems to be taking a page from Apple’s playbook and building an application store into the next version of Windows. Today, we’ve got some purported screenshots of the Windows App Store, from Taiwanese news forum cnBeta.

But as Business Insider points out, the screenshots – if they’re real – apparently have the app store running in Windows 7. So, such a service may be released before Windows 8. The screenshots also show that it’s called the “Windows App Store,” which helps explain why Microsoft is fighting Apple’s attempted trademarking of the term “app store.”

A number of Windows 8 leaks have recently surfaced on the Web.
