Microsoft reportedly launching it’s own branded Windows 8 tablet

The tablet market is growing at a very fast pace with Apple’s iPad currently the leader of the market, now the rumors are coming via Digitimes that Microsoft may launch it’s own branded Windows 8 tablet by the end of 2012 and is currently working with Texas Instruments and Taiwan-based OEMs/ODMs.
 
Microsoft has already previewed the next generation operating system for tablet at D9 and Computex 2011 earlier and probably we would be seeing Windows 8 tablets from various partners by the starting of 2012.If Microsoft launches it’s own branded Windows 8 tablet then they even have to compete with it’s partners which seems to be an awkward situation.
 
This isn’t the first time Microsoft has released it’s own branded hardware, Microsoft has success with XBOX 360 and Kinect but the Zune lineup wasn’t too successful.
