Palm has long offered
webOS Doctor software which smartphone users could use to fix problems with the operating system. Now HP is offering a Doctor which brings the same functionality to the HP TouchPad tablet which is the first device to run webOS 3.0. It went on sale today.
The software is available for download from the
webOS Internals page. You can use it to restore your device if anything goes wrong. While that’s especially useful if you plan to hack your shiny new TouchPad or install homebrew apps that aren’t available from the official App Catalog.
