For what we all know that Many Biggies are lining up for the mega launch of Windows 8 which is slated to be released in the later half of the year. As we reported earlier about Intel Working with 10 Companies for The Windows 8 Tablets.
As reported earlier by Digitimes according to unnamed sources, Biggies like Dell,Toshiba, Acer, HP,A SUS, Lenovo will bring the First Family of Windows 8 Tablets to bring as many as 32 Windows 8 tablets by the end of this year.
Amongst them Lenovo and Acer version of Windows 8 tablets will be in the price range of $300-$1000. In fact some of the tablets are said to be priced at below the $300 mark which will allow the Windows 8 tablets to compete against the cheap Android based tablet segments.While the Tablets priced similar to the iPad price range would target the New iPad and the iPad 2.
The article also talks about supposed launch date of Windows 8 both x86 and ARM version to be released as early as the month of September.With these tablets Intel and Microsoft will try and gain back the market share from apple iPad which is currently holding the number one spot with over 70% tablet market share to as low as 50% with their Wintel Tablets,by the mid 2013.
