Computex 2012: LifeBox Windows 8 Nettop Hands On
« on: June 07, 2012, 05:01:42 PM »
AMD isn’t staying out of he nettop game, at their booth at Computex 2012 they showed off an extremely small Nettop that had the tag line of smallest X86 nettop running Windows 8 in the world. We couldn’t find exact dimensions but we were impressed with the size. It was capable of running a Brazos C60 or Hondo processor.

Connectors include 2 x USB 2.0, a full size HDMI & Card reader and an Ethernet port. There was no word on other internal specs, but we assume there is some flash storage, but the main purpose is for business travelers to plug into hotel Ethernet and use the TV as a desktop monitor. I have to admit, I’m on board, all we need to know is a price point and availability.
