Windows 8 like previous OS have hibernate option to get your PC back from sleep mode fast and easily to the state where you left it but, hibernate button is hidden by default and you have to enable it manually. Although, there are many ways to enable that button but, today we will be telling you the easiest and shortest way to enable the hibernate button in Windows 8/RT.
Just follow the instructions below to enable the hibernate button of Windows 8/RT in 3 easy steps.
Instructions: • First of all, go to the Start Screen and search for ‘power’ and select ‘Settings’ filter from the right column.

• You would be showed a couple of power related options in the results. Press ‘Change what the buttons do’.
• Your System Settings will open on desktop. Here press the ‘Change settings that are currently unavailable’ from top of that page (refer the image below).

• Now, all other options on the page will be enabled. You will see the ‘Hibernate’ checkbox under ‘Shutdown settings’. Check the ‘Hibernate‘ box and press ‘Save changes’.

• That’s all! You would have the hibernate button in the power options of Windows 8.
