Eufony Free Audio Player is a no-frills, light weight audio player for Windows. I've been using it for a little while this afternoon, and it tends to use 20MBof RAM or less, while playing a wide array of audio formats including MP3, WAV, FLAC Ogg Vorbis, and WMA.

That's the good news. The bad news is, I wasn't kidding when I said no frills. Not only does this audio player lack some of the bells and whistles you'll find on other programs like visualizations, but it lacks some pretty basic features like forward and reverse buttons. There's also no way to create or save playlists, and every time you launch the program it opens the default folder, which in my case is the C drive. There's no way to change that option.

Eufony Free Audio Player is the free version of a $30 app called Eufony which offers a number of extra features including the ability to edit ID3 tags, find duplicate files, and convert audio from one format to another.

Still, if you're just looking for a light weight music player capable of handling over 40 audio formats, Eufony could come in handy. Maybe.
