Its showtime, people! Microsoft is an hour or so away from kicking off the 2014 edition of its BUILD developer conference, one that will provide us with first looks at several key products.
Things get underway in San Francisco today, April 2, from 8:30 to 11:30 AM and again on April 3 at 8:30 to 11:30 AM, Pacific Time in both instances. Microsoft executives will take to the stage to highlight new opportunities and showcase the investments the company is making for developers.
The event will be live streamed, and you can watch it online
here.
Obviously, two of the biggest announcements expected at this event are the unveilings of Windows 8.1 Update 1 and Windows Phone 8.1. Redmond will also provide some early pointers about Windows 9, the next full version of the operating system that is set for arrival in 2015.
