Oh Bungie, when did Microsoft treat you wrong? The studio famous for creating the Halo series is all about the PlayStation these days, giving first access to the beta to PlayStation owners and backing up a white PlayStation 4 holiday bundle. Something tells me it’s actually the business suits at Activision behind this blossoming new friendship, but more power to them for making Bungie fans out of former Halo haters.
I mean, it’s not like they have deals with Microsoft or Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare. Yeah, enjoy that this year Xbox One owners.
Meanwhile, PlayStation players will be getting exclusive content in Destiny seen in the gallery above. Exclusive costumes for each of the game’s three classes and exclusive weapons you won’t be finding anywhere else. I especially enjoy that massive hand cannon with a hooked claw extending out of the grip. That is one big pistol, and it’s a nice touch for the painful melee attacks in this game.
The bladed rifle is also a fine looking weapon, and Bungie is including several exclusive designs and colors for the spacecrafts in the game as well.
No word on whether or not this material will be timed, but you can enjoy Destiny on the Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, and PlayStation 4 from September 9th.
