Well I got it working, finally and what can I say? Very similar to 7000 and yes it has fishy as default, or atleast mine does, its the x64 version and it activated no problem using my original and official beta serial nos !! downloads work too. HOWEVER I have already had one blue screen of death not good but yeh its Windows. explorer still crap and crashes, its nowhere near stable.
I just used a spare drive and flip between 7000/7048 by changing the boot hard drive in the bios ! clever stuff u know thought it was easier than dual booting.
I use avast and its fine with 64xwindows7
One think it dont like is talking to VISTA machines that are on a domain, and cos I use WSUS I dont want to put the Windows7 on the domain (group policies implemented updates), however updates are available via WSUS as its now on the list. However VISTA can talk (connect) to the Windows7 homegroup) what a stupid idea that is why not just expand groove into a usable local workgroup?
