NVIDIA Releases New Windows 10 GeForce Drivers
« on: August 16, 2015, 08:13:11 AM »
NVIDIA GPU users can grab the latest update to their GeForce drivers, with version 355.60 offering improved support for Windows 10 among the tweaks.

Hopefully that means if you’ve yet to upgrade, you should get a smoother GPU detection and driver install process, which has been patchy in the past.

The drivers are ready to support the new DirectX 12 massively detailed real time strategy title, Ashes of the Singularity.

However, it doesn’t fix any existing Windows 10 in-game issues, with the following list still to be resolved, most to do with the problematic Batman game.

•ShadowPlay captured video doesn’t play back on Windows Media Player at 4K 60 fps. [200129752]

•The VLC media player does play the ShadowPlay captured video.

•[SLI, Batman: Arkham Knights] Severe stuttering seen, especially in indoor scenes, when the game is running at 4K resolution and NVIDIA Gameworks settings are turned on. [200116722]

•[SLI, Batman: Arkham Knights] Random flickering occurs in the game if SLI is enabled. [200116717]

•[GM206, SLI, Batman: Arkham Knights] Stuttering occurs and performance drops after shadow quality settings are toggled. [200116694]

•Blank screen observed on an ASUS Tiled display when system resumes from shutdown or hibernation with Fast boot option enabled from BIOS.
