The web is abuzz with talks of a major Microsoft event set to take place in October, where the company will not only announce new flagship phones, but also the Surface Pro 4 and Band 2.
From the look of things, we could be in for a range of new Microsoft hardware in just two months’ time.

While several reports over the past few months have claimed that Redmond is working on several new devices, no details have been available until now. But a Chinese website WPDang has it on good authority that the technology titan is making preparations for a huge event that.

If this report holds true, it would mean that Microsoft is setting up just one event to introduce all its new devices, including Surface tablets and new Windows 10 Mobile powered smartphones.
Interesting, this means that Microsoft has adopted Apple’s strategy, in how to use a single major event every year to take the wraps of its new devices. Redmond, it seems, is keen on a single press conference instead of separate events for each of its new hardware.
