And it comes with a couple of new and interesting features too! Microsoft today launched Windows 10 build 14926 on the fast ring channel of its Windows Insider Program.
This makes it the first new build from the Development Branch since build 14915 made its way out, some two weeks back.
Available for both PCs and mobile devices, this preview version is still light on features, which is typical at this early stage of development. The lull between the launch of the Anniversary Update and the arrival of fresh new options is very much normal.
Luckily, Microsoft seems to finally be done with the upgrade of its systems that prevent the launch of new builds last week.
So, in terms of features we are looking at Snooze in Microsoft Edge, which is said to be an experimental action on a tab in the browser that offers users a way to set a Cortana reminder on the website that is being viewed.
We heard about this not too long ago, and the feature is here now, in its early form.
Basically, it is a way to put a site into a Cortana reminder that will show up as a notification in the Action Center, allowing for the possibility of quickly opening up that site in Edge when ready.
Another feature that we got a hint of recently was updated WiFi settings page on mobile, which is Microsoft’s bid to unify the settings experience across devices. Some new options are provided, and this is how things look right now:

Redmond has also made improvements to the PC upgrade experience, and the OS will now check for apps that have been uninstalled and preserve that state when upgrading, instead of reinstalling them after each upgrade — particularly handy for those using Insider builds.
And finally, the company has made pin login easier than ever, and the numbers will be displayed even with the Number Lock key on the keyboard turned off.
