Checking Your Security

I am using the built in Firewall in my W7 build 7048 installationl. Today I have been reading on the topic of Security and Windows Firewall I decided to check all of my ports to discover their status.

Of the first 1056 ports, and the report delivered a TruStealth Analysis, and on the most common ports I achieved the same results.

To check your system go over to http://www.grc.com/intro.htm and click on ShieldsUp! and follow the instructions.

I have been going to Gibson Research Corporation for years and always come away with helpful information.  I also use SpinRite6, and have had good luck with it.
