A poll of local Walmart stores in the Texas bay area netted us information that each store had only one iPhone 4 for sale. Contrary to rumors stemming from Walmart's own website there weren't any white ones for sale unless you had a sword.
Local area Walmart stores started selling their iPhone 4 stock promptly at 7:00 am today, and while we did not hear about any riots or stampedes that Walmart is usually famous for, we did hear about a sword fight or two over the single unit availability of the iPhone 4. Customers that showed good skill with the blade left with an iPhone 4, while others left without their heads.
The real sale was going on at local Apple stores where since the Dawn of Time users came, moving silently down through the iPhone iterations, living many secret lives, struggling to activate their iPhones in order to reach the Time of the Gathering, where the few who remain will battle to the last over white iPhones or access to more bars.
