In Europe it is very common the devices selling unlocked so customers can insert a SIM card from any carrier and use their mobile phone. If you want to buy an unlocked iPhone 4 without a contract it will cost you more. But how much more? iFun, a German blog, put together a chart showing unlocked iPhone 4 prices around the world.

The most expensive country to buy an unlocked iPhone 4 is Italy with the 16 GB model selling for €659 ($870) and the 32 GB model for €779 ($1,030). The least expensive country to buy an unlocked iPhone 4 is Hong Kong with the 16 GB model selling for €496 ($650) and the 32 GB model for €585 ($770). In the US, iPhone 4 is locked to AT&T and is not offered unlocked.
