Not very long ago, Apple handed out a major update for its iOS platform to millions of users out there. However, we hear that the iPhone, iPad and the iPod community is in for a new round of another highly awaited update. They’re calling it iOS4.2, the new operating system that will probably get released in November this year.
The new OS is expected to act more like native iPhone software. IPad users may have a hard time figuring out the new features, but they’ll soon get to the basics quickly. Besides, it was the iPhone that was first introduced in the market, the tablet thing was never there.
Rumor has it that the iOS4.2 wasn’t scoring big numbers during its Wi-Fi connection test phases. Apple hasn’t dropped any explanations but a lack of internet connection would’ve been downright awful, even if the new OS would’ve been released earlier.
The new iOS4.2 is regarded as a software that will bring changes to the iPad, the iPhone and the iPod Touch. We don’t know what those magical “changes” are, because none of the Apple guys have spoken on an official level about the new software. Let’s just put it this way; a delay in release is far better than handing out something new that will probably raise a lot of ruckus in the market, due to tons of bugs and security loopholes.
