GeoHot Talks About Lawsuit by Sony Over PlayStation 3 Jailbreak

As we all know, Sony Computer Entertainment America [SCEA] filed a lawsuit against George “GeoHot” Hotz over the release of a PlayStation 3 jailbreak.

Well, GeoHot made an appearance on Attack of the Show! [AOTS] today, in which he talked about the lawsuit. Surprisingly, GeoHot doesn’t seem to be too worried about the lawsuit. If anything, he seemed to poke some fun at Sony, indicating that company filed a lawsuit against him because he made them mad.

In all seriousness though, GeoHot made it clear that his PlayStation 3 jailbreak does not enable piracy. It just allows individuals to install their custom homebrew applications.
