Verizon will start iPhone sale officially on February 10th but valued Verizon customers will have the opportunity to pre-order the Verizon iPhone on February 3rd. We received the following email yesterday with all the details as to when the pre-orders will begin.
Per email received from Verizon Wireless, Verizon will start the pre-order sales for the iPhone on February 3rd, 2011 beginning at 3AM Eastern time for current Verizon customers only. The pre-orders will be on first come first served bases so make sure to get online at 3AM (EST) on the 3rd to purchase your highly anticipated Verizon iPhone.
Here is a quote from the original email from Verizon Wireless on the release of the iPhone.
“Phone 4 is coming to Verizon. Because we appreciate and value your loyalty, existing Verizon Wireless Customers will have an exclusive online purchase opportunity before iPhone 4 is available to everyone else.
For you it begins 02.03.11. Order iPhone 4 from our reserved quantity on a first-come, first-served basis beginning at 3 AM Eastern.”
