Screenshots of Metro-Style SkyDrive have emerged showing the new interface of Microsoft’s cloud storage website similar to Metro Microsoft account which previously started rolling out to some users. The interface is very similar to Metro-UI of Windows 8 with the same flat look and buttons and has been optimized specifically for touch devices.
The images leaked by Liveside.net shows the Metro-Style SkyDrive website which is now similar to Metro Microsoft account webpage. The page is more flat and all the menus, buttons etc are now showed with flat look just like Windows 8. The toolbar has been moved to the top ribbon with the menus on the left column.
The Metro-Style SkyDrive webpage has the new SkyDrive logo which was revealed few days ago by Microsoft. The documents and files in SkyDrive now have larger UI. There is now a link to new Office Web apps which previously were available for SkyDrive users by visiting a special link only.
This new Metro-Style SkyDrive interface would start rolling out to users in August but, the Metro-Style Microsoft account can be tried now as well as you can try out the Metro-Style Live Web Messenger now.
