Microsoft updates the Adobe Flash for Internet Explorer 10 of Windows 8 in a security update
Microsoft has recently released a new security update for the pre-installed Adobe Flash version of Windows 8. This Flash update has been released keeping the security of Internet Explorer 10 of Windows 8 in mind. Now, the latest update of Flash has changed the version to 11.4.402.265.

Adobe has released security update for Flash on all versions. All the Flash version on different platforms would be updated automatically but, thats not the case for the Windows 8 as only Microsoft can update the pre-installed Flash.
Microsoft previously was not releasing the updates for Flash of Internet Explorer 10 of Windows 8 and users were at risk but, then Microsoft said we are working with Adobe and future updates will be released in sync with Adobe and here we have the both updates at the same time.
The update fixes 25 security vulnerabilities and Microsoft has also issued a security bulletin mentioning the effected OS.

The update is available for the following Windows 8 versions:
Windows 8 RTM x64 (
Download)
Windows 8 RTM x86 (
Download)
Windows 8 Release Preview x86 (
Download)
Windows 8 Release Preview x64 (
Download)
Windows Server 2012
It would be available through Windows Updates too but, this Flash update is recommended specially if, you use Internet Explorer 10 and should be downloaded immediately.
