I suppose after using a mainframe word processor called Script and the wonderful Display Write Four (DW4), my first version of MSWord was:

Microsoft Word 2.0

and then the very BEST version of Word was:
Microsoft Word 6.0

I could get Word 6 to do anything. And when the next version came out M$ had taken away much of the functionality I had got used to. Grrhh. And of course, Word has never been the same since. So much for progress.

I guess I am showing my age here, but I predate All versions of Windows and Office Suites.  My intro into the Office Suites was Word for Windows 1.0 beta (it was distro at UCLA) it never hit the market then came Word 1.1.
