Size does matter, after all! It seems that Microsoft is ready to unleash some new UI goodness for Windows 10, in the form of a new size for the Live Tiles on the Start Menu.
And the Start Screen, what have you.
The company is currently working on a big update for the operating system that is due for arrival within the next month or so. Now while the Windows development team might be busy with that, Redmond also finally released Office 2016 yesterday.
An ad for the productivity suite is out, and it suggests that Microsoft might soon release an extra-large version of the tile.
It has been spotted by Reddit user dAKirby309, and as you can see from the image below, this huge tile is clearly noticeable on the Start Screen:

Now, while this could certainly come in useful for desktop users when pinning the most used apps on the Start Menu, it might be a bit difficult to use on devices with smaller screen — particularly with tablets that do not feature high resolution displays.
But all that is, of course, if it arrives.
All we know, this might just be a concept to emphasize that fact that Office 2016 is fully compatible with Windows 10. There is no confirmation about this new UI element whatsoever.
That said, Microsoft is also working on Interactive Live Tiles, a concept where this big size might come in real handy for users in providing them with new features and options without opening the associated application.
