Hey, where’s my surprise?! Microsoft has just initiated the roll out of Windows 10 Mobile build 10581 to users enrolled in the fast ring of the Windows Insider Program.
This, after
teasing something very special.
But we’ll take this new build, keeping in mind the fact that the launch of the mobile operating system grows closer by each passing week. This new version comes nine days after the release of the previous build,
that being version 10572.
If you’re on the lookout for some new features in Windows 10 Mobile Insider Preview build 10581, then don’t be, as Microsoft has
acknowledged that this new version doesn’t bring any significant new features.
However there are many improvements, some of them very welcome.
Starting with the fact that the company has managed to fix an issue in recent builds that prevented users from upgrading directly to the latest release.
Users were forced to first downgrade to Windows Phone 8.1 and only then initiate the deployment of the latest Windows 10 Mobile builds. But this problem has now been eliminated, and you can directly upgrade to 10581 with ease.
But enough talk about the mobile version of the preview.
Gabriel Aul of Microsoft has said that we can also expect the next PC build, which looks like it will be version 10576. More details should be with us later today, hopefully with the version itself.
