Microsoft Struggling To Keep Up With Lumia 950 Demand
« on: January 04, 2016, 09:25:42 PM »
Technically, both the Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL here, but according to the company, these two new flagships are off to such a great start that initial demand has outstrip supply.

Happened before, this.

With previous Microsoft hardware launches, and once again, the software titan is struggling to resupply the initial stock of these two new smartphones — both of which are selling very well, and are actually quite hard to find in some countries.

Redmond published a short statement denying that the Lumia 950 and 950 XL suffer from any hardware or software issues, and the only reason why these devices are not available at many retailers is due to high demand.

Yusuf Mehdi of Microsoft lays it straight:

“The first Windows 10 phones, the Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL are now available worldwide and off to a great start, with initial demand outstripping our supply. We’re working actively to resupply the many stores which ran out of initial stock.”

Just in case you are out of the loop, many retailers temporarily pulled the Lumia 950 and 950 XL from sale recently, announcing instead that the phones will be up for purchase by the end of the month.

Good news for Microsoft, this, shows that there is still a passionate user base that is very interested in the various new solutions that the company launches.
