Three HTC phones leaked
« on: February 16, 2010, 01:33:45 AM »

This is a nice surprise but expect this news to be overshadowed by Microsoft’s huge debut of its mobile operating series, Windows Phone 7.

If you missed it, San Francisco, please take a look because honestly if you’re a fan of Microsoft products and there are about two of you here in the Bay Area, you’ll probably enjoy what you find and see.

Moving on.

While this is certainly big news, fans of HTC phones might miss this great news and that really would be a shame. Or maybe it’s a blessing in disguise considering the tons of you who have complained about the 3G service in the Bay Area with the Nexus One, also made by HTC. They probably like the low profile.

Anyways, three upcoming HTC phones and their specs have been leaked before HTC appears at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. The three phones include HTC Desire otherwise known as the Bravo, the HTC Legend and the HTC Touch HD Mini. Not a bad haul. A quick rundown of the specs are below.
Desire:

CPU Speed - 1 GHz
Platform - Android™ 2.1 (Éclair) with HTC SenseTM
Memory - ROM: 512 MB, RAM: 576 MB
Dimensions - (LxWxT) 119 x 60 x 11.9 mm (4.7 x 2.36 x 0.47 inches)
Weight - 135 grams (4.76 ounces) with battery
Display - 3.7-inch AMOLED touch-sensitive screen with 480 X 800 WVGA resolution

Legend:

CPU speed - 600 MHz
Platform - Android™ 2.1 (Éclair) with HTC Sense
Memory ROM - 512 MB, RAM: 384 MB
Dimensions - (LxWxT) 112 x 56.3 x 11.5 mm (4.41 x 2.22 x 0.45 inches)
Weight - 126 grams (4.44 ounces) with battery
Display - 3.2-inch AMOLED touch-sensitive screen with 320 X 480 HVGA resolution

And sadly, no full specs for the HTC Touch HD Mini. So, these look pretty good if you’re looking for an alternative to the HD2 (which has big news coming this week) or the Nexus One. No telling when they are going to come out as of yet, but you will probably find out when they will hit San Francisco stores tomorrow.

Pining for Google's latest pin-up?

Who needs a Nexus One when HTC are set to announce the Bravo at the MWC conference in Barcelona tomorrow!

The handset looks to be set to match the N1 specs, including that glorious 3.7" AMOLED screen, but with added HTC flavour! The Bravo is expected to include an optical navigation stick, the same 1GHz Snapdragon CPU from Qualcomm, and HTC's Sense UI running on top plus the addition of a FM Radio.

Edit: Full specs now available, and it seems to be christened the 'HTC Desire'!
