One URL, All Your Contacts
« on: July 15, 2010, 08:09:07 PM »
On the new Windows Live Contacts site (still rolling out now worldwide), you can store all your online contacts in one place – even those not originally in Windows Live! When you visit the URL http://contacts.live.com, you’re presented with a list of your Windows Live Contacts (assuming you have already been using the service), but you can also add contacts from various social networking sites and other webmail providers.

Included in the list are Google, AOL Mail, Facebook, MySpace, LinkedIn, Hyves, Hi5 and Tagged. You can, of course, also import your Outlook contacts for safe-keeping online and you can even import the contacts associated with a different Windows Live account you have access to.

The end result is one online contacts list available at a single URL which houses all  your contacts from around the Internet.

What’s even better is that the Windows Live Service continues to sync data from the other networks into the service, so you’ll always have the latest info available.

And if you want to go one step further, you can add your Windows Live account to your smartphone in order to access your entire contact list from anywhere you go – just add the associated Hotmail account to your device.
