Microsoft Office 2010 14.0.4006.1010 (Eng-Private Only)
Microsoft started registration for Office 2010 Technical Preview program from select privater on an invite-only basis.
May 11, 2009, Microsoft has provided its largest partners to trial version of the new office software package developed by Office 2010 Technical PREVIEW
The Microsoft Office 2010 Technical Preview is a limited, invitation only program which will provide you with the opportunity to experience early, pre-release versions of Office 2010 which will include the following applications: Word 2010, Excel 2010, Outlook 2010, PowerPoint 2010, OneNote 2010, Communicator 2010, Access 2010, InfoPath 2010 and Publisher 2010. Microsoft Office 2010 provides people at home or work with a comprehensive set of tools that helps them gather and consolidate virtually any type of information, find what they are looking for quickly, and easily share information with others across geographical or organizational boundaries, so they can deliver better results faster.

As you can see, some applications have changed a lot more than others. The ribbon seems to be on every application now, which is great for consistency's sake. The splashscreen you see for every application is actually animated, which is why the colours at the bottom will look slightly different from screenshot to screenshot. The biggest change, in my opinion, is that the no file/orb menu is no longer a menu. When you click the colored office button, you get a screen that is shown in the second screenshot for each application.

* Office 2010 is available in 32-bit and 64-bit version.
* Office 2010 will work on Windows XP SP3, Windows Vista and Windows 7.
For comfortable work with Office 2010 you do not need to change the hardware, because the system requirements since the release of Office 2007 virtually unchanged. As was the case with Windows 7 at Microsoft realized that to realize the benefits of the existing hardware is as important as support for new technologies.
