I am lost.

Have installed Win 7, but because I have never worked with Vista I am really lost too. I am 76 years old, and came in after ww2 from The Netherlands to the US
Computers is my hobie and I built a few. Because I worked around Computers, I went to class in Moorpark City College to even learn more about them. Was a Beta tester for Win XP before it came out.

So far I like Win 7

I am running the evaluation copy Built 7100. Should I install the latest version or does the update takes care of this automatically ?

Answer: Do a clean install or .. just upgrade to a newer version.. good known version is 7229

You have joined at a very exciting time as the most recent Build 7229 has been released to multiple torrents for download.  I think it is highly advisable to download and install this version as it should be very stable and have some bugs fixed in it.

Windows Update will NOT upgrade your current version to this latest version.  If you have any questions we are all here to Help.
